Darrick Johnson A-K-A Brother Malcolm; An actor, playwright and poet whose purpose is to use creativity as a means to challenge and stimulate minds hoping to influence and transform lives, 2010 founded the performance group; “By any Means Edu-tainment” Artist who seeks to educate while they entertain. Mr. Johnson has written, directed and performed in 2 of his own plays: “In the name of love, which featured a surprise marriage proposal to his then girlfriend and current wife, Cameo “Same goal different view” Love is Revolutionary, along with many short dramatic skits, performances @ Fredericksburg MD, Baltimore public charter school and the luv lounge located @ Annie’s art gallery in Camp springs, MD
Has toured with Pin Point Theater’s production of; The Meeting; portraying slain human rights leader Malcolm X, which questions what would have happened had MX and MLK join forces. A poet who has performed throughout the DC metropolitan area, Atlanta Georgia, Bollix, Mississippi and Camden New Jersey; 2004 @ Howard Universities Blackburn center, Clarice Smith Performing Arts center on campus of UMD and the Historic Lincoln Theater in Washington, DC with the Ozziddi group. 2005 extra in the HBO drama; The Wire, 1991 stared in rap video of MC Brains, shot in downtown Washington, DC.
